The Rothschild-Pound House Inn is pleased to announce our first ever Family Cottage. It’s designed with all the comforts of home; comfy beds, a kitchen, a screened porch and it’s only eight minutes to Ft. Benning. We know you would like to spend as much time together as possible, so, we’ve tried to think of everything. There’s even a barbeque grill. It’s 365 per night, for three bedrooms and three private baths.There is a two night minimum, and an additional 100/ night to add our Willoughby’s Loft Suite. If you rent the whole house, you can sleep up to ten people. And, our world famous breakfast is included! Call for avalability and reservations. The Rothschild-Pound House Inn is gearing up for Spring. It’s cold today, but all last week the temperatures were close to eighty. The Tulip Poplars are blooming alongside the abundant, hot-pink Loripetlum, and even Camelias are still blooming. It’s a glorious time to be in Columbus, Georgia. The seasons are one of the reasons visiting an inn is so special. When you first walk into The Rothschild-Pound House you are greeted by an enormous bouquet of the most beautiful flowers I can find. Then each of the guest rooms get their very own fresh flowers. It keeps me excited to be here too, to be able to bring the outside beauty into the house. Many hotels do this, but not most. We even change the soap to match the seasons! Each evening Chef David prepares a special treat for our guests. At Vintage 222, Chef presents the most delicious accompaniments to go along with our House Wine, all part of your stay at the inn. And Breakfast is a celebration of whatever is in season, whether it’s a Citrus Compote in Winter, Baked Apples in Fall and Strawberry Buttermilk Pancakes in Spring. It’s just one more way to make your overnight stay an experience you will treasure. We find so much joy in creating this special place for our guests. It’s truly a one-of-a-kind experience, a season at a time.

The Rothschild-Pound House Inn has beautiful, fully furnished cottages, available on a monthly basis for people who need long term accomodations, (a month or more). They are perfect for Ft. Benning contractors and people working on short term projects. The cottages are about 1000 square feet each.
