Atlanta Magazine Oct 2013

Atlanta Magazine writer (Mary Logan Bikoff) was in town to do a story about the new Chattahoochee White Water attraction and stayed with us at the Inn. Here is what they had to say:

We were walking distance from Minnie’s and the river at the Rothschild-Pound House Inn, which includes a B&B in the main Victorian structure as well as several nineteenth-century shotgun cottages across the street. In the afternoon, complimentary wine and cheese appear. And at breakfast on the wraparound porch, sublime blueberry pancakes are a great way to fuel up for exploring the city.

2-3 Bedroom Family Cottages Now Available, Perfect for Whitewater Vacations!

Tuesday, May 14th, 2013

Memorial Day Weekend is fast approaching and that means Whitewater for Columbus, Georgia! The Rothschild-Pound House Inn is only three blocks from all the fun on the Chattahoochee River. You can walk to the Whitewater course, as well as scores of restaurants, bars, markets, shops and historic interest points. We are in the heart of the Original City Historic District.

In anticipation of the many families visiting Columbus to raft the Chattahoochee, we now have some great self-service cottages. These are two and three bedroom cottages, right across from the inn. In addition to cable and internet and beautiful baths, they have a full kitchen, front porch, outdoor seating and grill. It’s the perfect way to sleep 4-6 people in charming accommodations. Rates are 325-395/night for the 2-3 bedroom cottage, two night minimum.
